Primary care is the basic non-specialist health care of humans from birth to death, and through all of the spectrum of life’s cycles. This includes birth, pediatrics, men’s and women’s health, and elder care. Herbalists have the potential to make a tremendous contribution to America’s primary care crisis through health promotion, disease prevention, and affordable, ecologically sound treatment alternatives. This conference focuses on providing herbal solutions to many common primary care needs of human beings from the beginning of life to its end, with an emphasis on total family wellness.
